Additional Information About Our Church
|
The Mission of Agape Ministries Church of God in Christ, is to use a holistic approach in leading people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to establish them as disciples into the kingdom of God through evangelism, community outreach, preaching, and practical teaching of God's Word that they may live a victorious life, in their covenant rights and privileges as children of God.
Our continuing desire is to foster wholesome and satisfying relationships within our local body, as well as bringing people to salvation in Jesus Christ, through our corporate and individual witness to a non-Christian world. The name and purpose of this ministry was divinely given to Pastor Daniels while reading John 21:15-19.
When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?" "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep." The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep."
