Additional Info About Cathedral of Hope
|
The Cathedral of Hope is the world's largest liberal Christian church with a primary outreach to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. We have been affiliated with the United Church of Christ denomination since 2006. Our church has 52,000 worldwide constituents and 3,500 members. We give away more than $1 million in direct aid and service each year to the local community. We have 4 mission projects - Reynosa, Mexico; Honduras; Guadalajara; and Biloxi, Mississippi. The growing Children's Department has over 200 children and continues to grow, attracting families from across the DFW Metroplex due to their innovative and creative story telling. We are the largest church in Texas with a female Senior Pastor. Our church offers 4 worship services per week.
