The House of Restoration Church was founded in 1957 as the first Hispanic church in the city of Hartford Connecticut. Today, the church has been blessed with a multicultural congregation with a beautiful diversity consisting of representation from Guyana, Israel, Peru, Columbia, Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, and Africa. Because of the diverse cultural make up of the congregation, the church offers services in both English and Spanish. Translation is provided during our services for members and visitors. Also, the House of Restoration Bible School likewise has been organized to provide classes in English and Spanish in an effort to effectively teach the Word of God.
The church has a number of various programs and ministries that are tailored to meet the needs of adults and youth of all ages. We provide a spiritual environment that promotes growth and welcomes expressions of the love of Christ. The Governing body of the church consists of the Bishop Jeremiah Torres and his wife Pastor Miriam Torres, elders, pastors of ministries, deacons, and laborers. Together, they collaborate to maintain daily operations of the church and its overall organization and functions. This great team of leaders is prepared to help serve and assist you to the best of their abilities in all your spiritual needs.
