The Church was established on the commitment to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to proclaim to a lost world that you can be "Loosed for the Master's Use". Our vision at FBC #2 is to minister to the community of Sanford and nearby communities, Edify the body of Christ via sound biblical teaching, to Evangelize the lost souls, and to Teach our members the way of Holiness and how to fulfill the great commission of Christ. It is our mission to reach the world with the truth found only in the Word of God. God is using this ministry to revive, restore, reconcile and regenerate those in the Body of Christ. We firmly believe that people will not change unless they recognize a need for change and then it still must be preempted in order to actually occur. With this in mind, we are committed to constantly challenging people to change; which in turn leads to them walking in their God given destiny. Part of the vision and our hearts desire is to strengthen the people of God to the point that they are able to effectively win souls for Christ via personal evangelism.
