New Shiloh Baptist Church is a prominent and historical church in west Baltimore City. Led completely by the Holy Sporit under the annointed leadership of the dynamis father and son duo Dr. Harold Carter, Sr. and Jr. Dr. Carter, Sr. being recognized locally and nationally as a legend among preachers, played a very instrumental part of the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960's, working side-by-side as a mentee of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Being joined by his son (Dr. Carter, Jr.) in 1996 in mutual Pastorate, they shepard the people of New Shiloh with great love and care and have incorporated a style of traditional and contemporary worship in the weekly services. New Shiloh seeks to care for all of the spiritual needs of its members as well as the community with a warm and compasstionate embrace and ministries that covers a wide variety from youth to adult and beyond.
