Additional Info About Payne Avenue Missionary Baptist Church
|
Payne Avenue Missionary Baptist Church is located in the city of Knoxville on the eastside of the town. We are a bible-centered congregation that combines traditional values with progressive thinking in addressing the needs of this current time. Rev. Richard S Brown, Jr., is our pastor. He is assisted in leadership by his associate ministers, dedicated deacons, and an assortment of church leaders. Our motto is "There is a special place for YOU at Payne Avenue."
We are a church that seeks to be mission-oriented. There are a variety of ministries that support the members and the community at large. Some of these outlets include departments, special committees, and auxiliaries that assist the church in achieving its mission and objectives.
Some of the specific organizations are the missionary circles, Sunday School, Nurture for Baptist Churches, Choir Department, Youth Department, and other mission-centered departments. Through the mission ministries, the church is able to reach out locally, nationally, and internationally. There is something for everyone.
