USA Churches was first established in October 2000 as a free service to the Columbus, Ohio area. Our church directory grew quickly, and we expanded our directory of churches in 2005 to serve Christians nationwide in finding a church.

The purpose of USA Churches is to provide a simple and effective way for people searching for a church to find information. We have organized all of the pertinent information churchgoers seek when selecting a church home, including: service times, location and driving directions, church size, worship style, common attire of attendees, pastors, ministries, values and beliefs, and more.

The vision for USA Churches is to see the body of Christ grow nationwide in both number and maturity, to guide new believers to Christ, and to bring back the lost. Research has shown that a large percentage of Internet users use the Internet to search for information on Christianity, including to find local Christian churches. By providing Internet users this free online service, our hope is to see more people's lives transformed by the grace of God, more people connect with a local church, and ultimately the impact of the church in our world.
