General
Description:
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God. - We believe that there is one God, who exists in a trinity of person, Father Son, and Holy Spirit. - We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary (in our place) death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return for His church. - We believe that all men by nature and by choice are sinners, and hopelessly lost apart from the personal acceptance of the salvation which is available only in Jesus. - We believe on the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is able to live a holy life. - We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to the resurrection of life and the lost to the resurrection of damnation. - We believe that all who have placed their faith in Christ are united in one spiritual body, the Church. We believe that the members of this one spiritual body are directed to associate themselves together in local assemblies. - We believe that each person must repent, turn away from sins, and trust Christ. - We believe that when we turn away from sin and trust Christ, the old record of sin is wiped clean and we are born anew, thus becoming part of the Family of God. - We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again.
