Pastor Medina has been Evangelist to Europe and the Philippines with doors opened to Africa and Puerto Rico, and this ministry has continued overseas. But he has a strong desire to see our cities won for Jesus Christ. God has given him a vision for the streets of America. Often times he has been referred to as "The Voice Crying in the Wilderness". Pastor Medina has been just that, "a voice crying" out for lost souls.
For the past twenty years, after being healed and delivered from a heart attack due to a drug overdose in 1988 and set free from a mental institution and a spirit of drug addiction, Pastor Medina has been in the heart of our cities, taking God's message of salvation, deliverance and healing to a lost and dying people in our city streets; thus, becoming the thrust of his ministry.
An evangelist by calling, Pastor Medina's preaching style can be summed up in the unofficial name of his outreach ministry in Camden, "Streets of Fire" (Jeremiah 20:9). This experience has brought Pastor Medina to the vision of Liberty Tabernacle Family Worship Center, a place of wholeness and healing for those devastated by sin. Now based out of Medford, New Jersey, Pastor Medina began to see that vision come to pass as they train up a body of believers to go forth and preach the gospel, the Good News that Jesus Christ has come to save us from our sin. Pastor Medina has an awesome testimony and continues to press towards the mark.
Dr. Medina has been in ministry for well over 20 years, Senior Pastor since 1997 when he founded Liberty Tabernacle Family Worship center. For a period of 10 years his ministry was growing strong, and we had established several outreaches, including our inner city ministry called Front Line Ministries, New Life Group Home for recovering addicts, and much more. Dr. Medina preached nationally as well as internationally, bringing God's power of Salvation, Healing, and Deliverance. On November 16th, 2007, he had a near fatal car accident that left him a quadriplegic and hospitalized for two years. Dr. Medina is back at the helm, with a stronger desire now than ever to see the lost saved healed and delivered, restored back to the Father.
