Additional Info About Our Church

The basic principles that compel the existence of Omega Church can be summed up as follows:

A. We are fundamental in belief. We take our stand on the Holy Bible as the Word of God, being of unique inspiration, and having supreme authority in our lives.

B. We are missionary in outlook. We have a burning desire to keep before the world the plan of redemption: to hasten under all possible Christian means the salvation of men, and to keep before the church the magnitude of her unfinished task.

C. We are evangelistic in endeavor. We seek the salvation of men through concentrated effort to win them to Christ. We want to promote true revivals of Christianity in our churches, and relate men to Christ in saving and sanctifying grace.

D. We are cooperative in spirit. We urge and believe that we should cooperate with other Bible-believing Christians and churches of the evangelical Christian faith, and not withdraw ourselves into a closed religious corporation.

E. We are Arminian/ Wesleyan in doctrine. The thrust of John and Charles Wesley in doctrine was to not only see men justified by faith, but to pursue the scriptural call of holiness, a pure heart, and perfect love through the filling of the Holy Spirit. This is the doctrine of entire sanctification.

Mission:

We believe God has graciously provided each of us an invitation to enter into salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ. We are witnesses to the resurrection of Jesus Christ and his forgiving, transforming power. We invite all who will to repent of your sins, to put your faith in Him, to be filled with His Holy Spirit, and to learn to serve Him as your heart becomes changed by the power of His love. We encourage each believer to grow in the knowledge of God's word and to follow His will. We want to equip each one to use their spiritual gifts to enhance His Kingdom, so they may receive the blessings He has promised.
