The Apostolic Lutheran Church of America (ALCA) is a Protestant denomination that was founded by Finnish immigrants in the Calumet, Michigan area in 1872. The headquarters for the Apostolic Lutheran Church of America is located in Hancock, MI. Each local congregation is autonomous and responsible for their own way of functioning.
