Houston's First Baptist Church has been ministering to the people of the Houston area since 1841. We sponsor over twenty missions and ministry points, touching a wide variety of language groups and social needs. Three worship services are available on Sundays: The Assembly with our choir and orchestra (9:10 a.m.), The Gathering with the Gathering Band (10:45 a.m.), and Ascend with the Ascend Band (6:30 p.m.). Bible studies are offered for adults at 8:00 a.m. and for all ages at 9:10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:00 noon, and 5:00 p.m.
