Additional Info About Our Church
In March of 2001, during a Sunday morning worship service at The Good Shepherd Church, then Minister Daniels, heard the voice of the Lord say, "There are sheep in need of a shepherd." A few years later, while praying at the altar during an evening service, Pastor Daniels heard the Lord's voice say once again, "There are sheep in need of a shepherd." After much prayer, contemplation, and counsel on what the Lord had spoken, and under the charge of Bishop Torain, Pastor Daniels and his wife stepped out on faith to begin Agape Ministries of Maryland C.O.G.I.C. The doors of the church opened on January 4, 2009, and remained in Westminster until October 2021. On November 1, 2023, ministry moved to its current location in Randallstown, MD. It is now the Pastor's vision and goal to continue and develop Agape Ministries into a strong outreach and evangelistic ministry that will lead people to Jesus Christ.
Mission:
The Mission of Agape Ministries of Maryland Church of God in Christ is to use a holistic approach in leading people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to establish them as disciples into the kingdom of God through evangelism, community outreach, preaching, and practical teaching of God's Word that they may live a victorious life, in their covenant rights and privileges as children of God.
Vision:
Our continuing desire is to foster wholesome and satisfying relationships within our local body, as well as bringing people to salvation in Jesus Christ, through our corporate and individual witness to a non-Christian world. The name and purpose of this ministry was divinely given to Pastor Daniels while reading John 21:15-19.
Purpose:
Wherever you may be on your path, at Agape Ministries Maryland C.O.G.I.C. you will find a wealth of opportunities for spiritual and personal growth. Join us in the celebration of the Lord each Sunday morning at 11 AM for worship and become a part of a church that is "A Church of Faith, A Church of Power, A Church of Action!"
