Additional Info About Our Church
Berean is a confessional Reformed Baptist Church that was founded to the glory of God in February of 2003. We are passionately committed to the authority and sufficiency of God's written Word, the Holy Bible. Standing upon that firm foundation, we believe and teach that God's grace alone obtained through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone is the only way to find forgiveness for sin and to escape from the wrath that is to come. As a more detailed expression of our interpretation of Scripture, we fully subscribe to the Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689. Our church is formally connected to other churches of like precious faith. On the national level we are a member of the Association of Reformed Baptist Churches of America (ARBCA), and on the state level we belong to the Georgia Association of Confessional Baptists (GACB).
Purpose:
Berean Baptist Church exists to glorify God through the proclamation of His truth, the pursuit of evangelical holiness, the propagation of loving unity among His people, and the evangelizing of the world. It is our desire to recover and walk in the old paths that our protestant forefathers believed and taught, the faith once for all delivered to the saints (Jeremiah 6:16; Jude 3). We fervently believe that the recovery of the old evangelicalism preached with fresh power from the Holy Spirit is needed for a new awakening in our culture and in our world.
