Additional Info About Our Church

Christlife is an historic orthodox, New Testament, Trinitarian Pentecostal church excited about our living King and full of love as the family of God. Our services are filled with the sweet Presence of God and there is a warm welcoming to people of all backgrounds to come and celebrate with us. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit functioning actively for today's church and our focus is on discipling believers and equipping them for Christian service.

Mission:

We believe God's vision for us is to be a contemporary church, believer based, aware of and focused upon the needs of the unsaved; creatively and consistently reaching them with the message of the gospel. It is our goal to win them to the cause of Christ through all means found to be in harmony with God's Word. We exist to encourage, establish and equip those brought into the kingdom with the Word of God, teaching them in the power of the Spirit to worship and witness. When these things are done, we are called to then repeat the glorious cycle of evangelism by sending them out intentionally, to reach, to win, to teach, and to send all over again. In the midst of this mission , we are called to be a church of faith, hope, love, forgiveness and acceptance, bringing people into Christian maturity.

Vision:

We foresee a revival and a season of renewal for the church in our great city and across this country. Our vision includes the belief in a church returning to orthodox Christian faith and practice as opposed to this age of compromise and departing from biblical morality. We believe that we will at the forefront of that renewal in the area we are called to serve in.

Purpose:

To reach out to lost and hurting people enslaved in sin and spiritual darkness and to offer loving arms of mercy and forgiveness as we preach the gospel of the kingdom. To preach good tidings to the poor; through Christ to offer healing to the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord. (Isaiah 61)
