Additional Info About Our Church
CrossPoint Church began in a small office in downtown Salt Lake City in September 2006 as a church planting project of North American Ministries. It was led by Pastor Scott Warren and Pastor Randy Ledbetter and under their leadership became a Christian community passionate about worshipping God, growing in His grace and knowledge through His Word, and seeing lives transformed through Jesus Christ. In 2009 it was announced that Pastor Logan Wolf would partner with Faith Missions, a ministry of Faith Church in North Carolina, in order to start New Morning Church in Provo. He and his wife Grayson moved to the area in May 2011 and held New Morning's official Grand Opening Service that September. By that time, Pastor Randy and his wife LeAnn had moved back to their hometown in Tennessee. As a result of Pastor Logan and Pastor Scott's longstanding friendship, New Morning and CrossPoint developed collaborative relationship, partnering in ministry efforts and sharing pulpits. In 2015, Pastor Scott resigned in order to take a position at a church in Arkansas. In a joint service held on August 23, 2015, it was announced that CrossPoint would merge with New Morning and adopt a multisite model of ministry under the leadership of Pastor Logan and the name CrossPoint Church Utah.
Meeting God: CrossPoint Church exists to provide the communities of Taylorsville and Provo, Utah with an opportunity to have a genuine encounter with God. First and foremost, this means trusting Jesus alone as Savior and cultivating a personal relationship with Him.
Meeting Friends: We are here to help people develop meaningful relationships with others who will encourage them in life and support them on their spiritual journey.
Meeting Needs: We are here to encourage others to share the love of God by serving those in their own community, across the country, and around the world in the name of Jesus.
