Additional Info About Our Church
We are an independent, fundamental, Bible believing Baptist Church located in Kingsport, TN. We are committed to preaching and teaching from the King James Bible. Our services are conducted in a Biblical manner to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our goal is to be a faithful witness for the Lord in our community and bring Him glory by reaching the lost with the clear Gospel. Only through God's grace can people have assurance of their salvation and live a fruitful life.
If you are looking for a church where God's word is rightly divided, faithfully taught and God is worshipped according to His word, then you have found the right place. Join us Sunday morning at 10:30 am for fellowship and worship.
Mission:
Our mission at Double Springs Baptist Church is to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our goal to help people see their sinfulness, their need for Jesus Christ and accept the payment He made for them when He died for their sins according to the scriptures, was buried and rose again the third day to the scriptures. The defense of the gospel as being by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, as well as the biblical principle that a person's salvation is permanent regardless of their works after believing, are all part of this purpose.
Vision:
Our world is full of brokenness and hurt people who are looking for help. The Bible tells us in Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Our vision is to take this same love to our community by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ (1 Cor 15:1-4) and letting God, through the Gospel of grace, transform lives & thus our community.
