Additional Info About Our Church
We are a church family that reaches out and shares the good news of God's word with friends and neighbors by providing a place for worship, fellowship, support, education, and discipleship, so that all may know Godâ s love through the life and death of His Son, Jesus Christ.
We are a mid-sized congregation in the heart of downtown Elkton, Maryland, with multiple community-driven active ministries. In all we do, we seek to honor the Lord Jesus Christ by the power of The Holy Spirit.
Mission:
Our mission is to Bring people to Jesus, Nurture people in Jesus, Send people to serve for Jesus.
Vision:
We are a church with a heart for people. Following Jesus, we have weekly times of service to those at risk in our community. We enjoy times of food and laughter at picnics and fundraisers. Our worship combines traditional hymns with contemporary praise and worship. And we do all this deeply centered in several Bible study groups and small group fellowships, focusing our life together in following Christ as revealed in the Bible, the written Word of God.
We have a heart for you. We would be delighted to welcome you to visit our worship services, take part in our gathering times, act alongside us in loving ministry to others, explore becoming part of our relationships as a community in Christ. It would be great to see you.
Purpose:
Imagine a church whose mission is to welcome those who are far from God. A church where everyone feels at home from the moment they pull in the parking lot. A church where everyone is important. A place where everyone is loved, valued, and appreciated. That is who we strive to be. We are Elkton Presbyterian Church.
