Additional Info About Our Church
On February 1, 2003, we launched Hope Christian Center, a church sitting on the corner of New Lots and Pennsylvania Avenues in Brooklyn's East New York section. Through our ministry, we've become intentional about moving beyond our street corner directly to the hearts and homes of the people we serve.
Since 2003, we've led thousands into a continuing relationship with Jesus, touched more than 43,000 lives through our Hope evangelism efforts, assisted with creating affordable and senior care housing in the East Brooklyn area, fed over 10,000 people through our Hope Market initiative, launched our Spring Creek and Baldwin campuses, changed our name to Hope City Church and established virtual members across the U.S.
And what have we learned over the last two decades? That the faithfulness of God can't be contained. It is expansive. It meets us where we are and serves as a catalyst to grow deeper with God and to be a living representation of the Great Commission in and around cities.
Mission:
We accomplish our mission by equipping our members to turn to God (begin a relationship with God), grow with God (become a developing disciple), and partner with God (share the Gospel and love of God through their gifts).
Vision:
We exist to develop disciples who develop disciples to change the world.
