JITA or Jesus Is The Answer Church began as the Wilderness Table Apostolic Mission in Compton, CA. in 1976. Then in 1983 At the age of 19 the mission became an official church named Jesus Is The Answer under the direction of Bishop Ernest Johnson. It has grown to 42 churches nationally in the US and has over 250 ministers serving in other ministires. In 1983 a television outreach titled JESUS IS THE ANSWER was birth and grew from the Compton Cable TV Religious Channel to TBN, The Word Network, KCAL 9, The Black Family Channel, The Lester Summerall Channel, and now on KVMD TV and The LA Praise 6.2 in Southern California.
To reach the lost at any cost for Jesus Christ. Through outreach, television and print.
To build not just a church but a ministry of Jesus Christ to reach as many souls as possible before the coming of Jesus and to provide spiritual guidance and support to help them in their spiritual lives.
To preach, teach and educate those sent though our doors with the message of hope of Jesus Christ. To preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
