Additional Info About Our Church
Jesus Is The Answer Apostolic Church, formerly, Wilderness Table Apostolic Mission was started in the Home of Al and Janice Burnam in Compton, CA, in 1976. The Ministry evolved into an actual church in 1983 Under the direction of, then, Elder Ernest Johnson in 1983. From that church came the Jesus Is The Answer Church and the birth of the Jesus Is The Answer Televison program on Public Access. The ministry has never stopped growing.
We are an apostolic church with a vision to reach every creature regardless of your race, financial status, or church or religious affiliation. Our vision is that of Jesus as given in Mark 16:15-18.
Mission:
To win the lost and help those whom God sends to do three things: 1) Hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and repent; 2) Be baptized in Jesus Name and Be Filled with the Holy Ghost with tongues of fire (as the spirit give utterance); 3) Create an atmosphere of worship and learning to equip individual in the body to grow in the Lord and win others to the faith is Jesus Christ.
Vision:
To outreach and take the Gospel to the world around our church. To continue to plant churches nationally and internationally. Walk in the anointing and gifts of the spirit to benefit those to whom God sends us or sends to us. To walk in the signs and wonders of God spirit and lift Jesus to draw all men unto Him.
Purpose:
To win and perfect the lives and ministry of the saints, for the work of the ministry to editify the body of Christ to win souls and be ready for Jesus second coming.
