Additional Info About Our Church

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me - watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly. (Matthew 11:28-30)

Come to THE GATE. It is a place where the person and ministry of the Holy Spirit is embraced and where God's people can receive God's divine power for life and for godliness (2 Peter 1:3-4). At THE GATE , God is given the place and space where His grace is evident in healing, prayer, worship, equipping, faith sharing and outreach ministry.

One of the ways we help hurting people is through our Prayer Blanket Ministry. Just like God's rainbow, we have blankets of almost every color, red, blue, green, pink, yellow, some even have animals on them or even flowers. The blankets are handmade by the loving women of the church. The people hear about other people who are hurting, sick, or just needing a big hug from someone. They anoint the blankets with holy oil from Jerusalem, say multiple prayers over the blanket and tie knots in the end of the blanket. Each knot represents an individual's prayer to Jesus. Each blanket can have over 50 prayer knots. The blanket is then given to the person who has their own pain in life. That little blanket can be wrapped around their shoulders, put on the exact spot they might have hurt, or they can just let it lay across their lap. We know many people who sleep with their blankets. There isn't any magic attached to the blankets; they are just beautiful blankets. However, these special blankets come with the healing anointing of God and a lot of love and prayers from people who just love people. Just like Jesus! When Jesus walked the earth he told everyone to "Love one Another as I have loved you..." Remember how he fed the hungry, healed the sick, and just loved people. Small simple things can become a blessing to so many, even something as simple as a little blanket.

Mission:

To come together in Love as a family and community of believers to engage in Passionate Worship, Powerful Intercession and Persistent Prayer. To create a place and space where His grace is evident in healing, prayer, worship, equipping and faith sharing during ministry to all ages!

Vision:

That every believer would proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel in the character and power of Jesus Christ.
