Additional Info About Our Church
Many people feel hopeless as they search for peace in chaotic circumstances. At Olive Branch you will find a community of Christians who have found peace and hope in Jesus Christ. Therefore, it's fitting our church is named after a symbol of peace - the olive branch. Join us as we follow Jesus who said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (John 14:27)
Mission:
Founded in 1879, we've always existed to worship God, teach the Bible, care for one another and share the good news of Jesus Christ to everyone with our acts of love and words of truth.
Purpose:
We, the members of Olive Branch Baptist Church, believers in the saving grace of Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the love of God do commit ourselves to: Being active in worship, prayer, fellowship and Christian growth. Proclaiming to all that Jesus Christ is the way to eternal life. Being active witnesses through our lifestyles to all persons. Being aware of the needs of our community and to ministering to those needs through local and world missions.
