Additional Info About Our Church
Summerbrook Church was planted by Northwood Church in 1996 and met in a local school and a rented storefront facility before moving to current location in 2003. In 2010 we began our Do BIG Things campaign to build our current worship center which was completed in 2011. God has continued to bring new people to Summerbrook and we have been growing ever since. One way we have grown is the creation of our Summerbrook Childcare programs which led to our second Do BIG Things campaign in 2014 to build KIDS Central and renovate the Studio in 2015.
We have been amazed at how God continues to use us to fulfill the mission and vision of Summerbrook. That vision is advancing through our community group culture, and our commitment to authentic worship, genuine relationships and sound biblical teaching. God is at work at Summerbrook Church. We invite you take a step to connect in a deeper relationship with Jesus and with us as we grow as His followers and learn to serve Him with our lives.
Mission:
Connecting in relationship with Jesus, growing as His followers, and serving Him with our lives.
Vision:
Growing as a God-centered and life-changing community through relationship with Jesus Christ.
Purpose:
This is why we exist as a church and this vision is taken from the Great Commission of Christ to His disciples. And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (ESV Matthew 28:18-20)
