Additional Info About Our Church
Danny and Jamie have been serving in full-time ministry together for the past decade in a wide variety of roles, including youth pastors and intern directors. The dream to plant a church was in their hearts for over a decade before they were sent out by their previous church to relocate to Spokane and launch Sun City Church in January 2015. Since then, it's been a wild ride of building teams and growing the church into a flourishing community in the heart of Spokane Valley.
One of their biggest passions is introducing people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus. It's reflected in the way they minister and how intentional they are about helping people who haven't grown up in church understand what it looks like to follow Jesus.
Leadership development is a large focus for them and they're often side by side as they strategize, lead, and minister.
Together, they believe in being authentic, having fun, and wholeheartedly saying yes to wherever God leads. Their children, David, Hudson, and Annie, are also involved in serving on worship, media, and Next Gen teams. As a family, ministry isn't something they do, but who they are, and being able to serve in leadership alongside each other is a great honor and source of joy for them.
Mission:
Know God - Find Freedom - Discover Purpose - Make a Difference
