Additional Info About Our Church

Valencia County Cowboy Church's strategy is intentional to reach the unchurched. It's a church for all people. The cowboy culture is unique and requires a proven approach to speak to those that live in the western lifestyle. However, the church is also for those not living the western lifestyle. VCCC strategy is designed to remove the barriers that many times keep folks from attending church. There is no judgment based on a person’s past or present situation. The church operates through teams, "empowering many and accountability for all." The leadership is driven by Elder Role, which is different from Elder Rule. The pastor is the lead elder, the remaining elders serve in a spiritual and advisory role to the pastor. Lay pastors are assigned to each team to be an encouragement and resource to the team leader and members, spiritually and organizationally. Lay pastors also assist the pastor in providing additional ministry needs to the church members and attendees.
