Additional Info About Our Church

At 247 Church we are all about loving God and loving others. As an inter-denominational church it is a part of our DNA; we accept and embrace you just as you are. We are all united by our common faith in our Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that a daily part of our expression of worship is that we live out our faith together in community. Simply put, we are called into relationship with God and into relationship with our fellow believers. You are not alone, you were meant to walk out your faith journey with the support and friendship of your spiritual family. As we endeavor to make room for God in our lives by putting Him first in all that we say and do, He draws us closer into relationship with Him and into unity with His family. This is how we fulfill our purpose and impact the world around us. "The world will know that you are mine by your love for one another" John 13:35. It is our hope that you will find that we are the spiritual community that you can count on to embrace and support you as together we grow in God's love. May you find that when you are here, you are home! Sincerely, Joshua & Jena Pantuso Lead Pastors

Mission:

At our core we are people united by our faith in Jesus and our desire to make a difference. We are imperfect people seeking the manifestation of His presence in our lives, knowing that it is the power of His presence that changes us from the inside out and empowers us to be His church, sharing the Good News of His love to the world around us 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

WORSHIP: We believe that worshiping God is a lifestyle. Practicing God's Presence is our upmost priority because it is only Jesus in us that makes the difference. As we contemplate His glory, we are being transformed by the power of His Holy Spirit into His image. 2 Corinthians 3:18 When we spend time with Jesus we act like Jesus.

INTENTIONALITY: Lifestyle worship begins with Intentionality. Set your mind on things above. Colossians 3:2 Intentionality is the key to living like Jesus because it is making Jesus the object of our affection. Intentionality is choosing to love God with all of my heart, soul, mind and strength. It is being intentional about sharing His love with the world around me. Intentionality is believing that we were created on purpose, with purpose and for a purpose, and living like it. Make every moment count.

AUTHENTICITY: There is only one who is perfect. He is the genuine, authentic, original. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life John 14:6. Our pursuit for authenticity is to know Jesus as we are known by Him. Authenticity is about relationship not religion. It is not about pretending to be prefect, it is about being genuine. Authenticity is letting Jesus shine through us by yielding to him. Authenticity is real, honest relationship. No pride, no religion. Be genuine--not perfect. Philippians 3:7-14.

KINDNESS: Love is kind. Jesus said, love your neighbor as yourself. Our love for God must be expressed to the world around us in tangible ways. Jesus said, the world will know that you are mine (that you belong to me) by your love for one another. The golden rule is love in action. Kindness is a fruit of the Spirit. As we allow God's love to transform us at our core, the Holy Spirit expresses that same love to the world around us in the from of kindness. Be kind to one another. Ephesians 4:32.

SERVANT LEADERSHIP: As followers of Jesus we are called to Lead the world around us to Him by serving. The one who is a leader in God's kingdom is a servant. Matthew 20:26 Love Serves! Servant leadership is understanding that as children of God we have a responsibility to the world around us. The resources of God's kingdom are for the healing of the nations. Only the one who has can give. Freely we have received, freely we give. As leaders we serve. Galatians 5:13 serve one another in love.

COMMUNITY: When Jesus left this earth, He established the church as His community to represent his presence and the authority of His kingdom on this earth. Together we are empowered to be Jesus to the world. Together we are united under the banner of His love. Together we can release the power of heaven's presence over the nations as we worship our King Jesus. We are stronger together because together we are His church fulfilling the great commission 247. Acts 2:42-47

Vision:

The Scriptures Inspired: The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God, are the revelation of God to man, and are the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct (II Ti. 3:15-17; I Th. 2:13; II Pe. 1:21).

The One True God: The One True God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent I AM, the Creator of heaven and earth, and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Dt. 6:4; Is. 43:10-11; Mt. 28:19; Lu. 3:22).

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ: The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Scriptures declare His virgin birth (Ma. 1:23; Lu. 1:31, 35), His sinless life (He. 7:26; I Pe. 2:22), His miracles (Ac. 2:22; 20:38), His substitutionary work on the cross (I Co. 15:3; II Co. 5:21), His bodily resurrection from the dead (Mt. 28:6; Lu. 24:39; I Co. 15:4), and His exaltation to the right hand of God (Ac. 1:9; 2:33; Ph. 2:9-11; He. 1:3).

The Salvation of Man: Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. Being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life (Lu. 24:47; Jo. 3:3; Ro. 10:13-15; Ep. 2:8; Ti. 2:11; 3:5-7).

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit: All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts, and their uses in the work of the ministry (Lu 24:49; Ac 1:4,8; I Co. 12:1-31).
