Additional Info About Our Church
The 'New' Calvary Christian Fellowship is a merger of the former Calvary Christian Fellowship and Resurrection Power International. It is definitely a divine miracle that brought these two groups together in our first joint service on the 3rd of June 2007. Praise and glory be to God for He has taken us smoothly through the transition; we are truly united and pressing on.
Our vision is to be an international (cross-cultural) community of people living passionately for Jesus Christ, with a desire for the Church to be what it was intended to be. Our mission is to equip believers to be authentic, Holy Spirit empowered and functional disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our desire is to be a healthy, vibrant New Testament congregation that will make a positive impact starting with our immediate community, then our city, our nation and even to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).
We want Calvary Christian Fellowship to be a real 'fellowship' of all the people regardless of race, nationality, background, social status, or even religious affiliation. The Bible teaches that God plays no favoritism (Acts 10:34), and that Jesus came and died for all people (2 Corintians 5:15), and that eternal life is for whoever believes (John 3:16). Heaven will be an international community. We might as well start experiencing it down here!
Calvary Christian Fellowship is a place where everyone - families and individuals, young and old, will be welcome to worship and enjoy the fellowship that nurtures and replenishes the heart and mind.
We are still growing and we invite you to be part of our warm and passionate church family. We're striving for encouraging worship services where you can be built up through participation in uplifting singing and music and the preaching / teaching of relevant messages from God's Word. We're looking into new ways for people to get involved in serving others in ministry. Everyone has a place in the Body of Christ. Come as you are!
