Additional Info About Our Church
The Pine Tree Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the oldest organized church in Gregg County, was established in 1847, and a post office began operating at the community the next year. Our church is comprised of a Pastor and Elders who meet once a month specifically to go over church business. They make decisions regarding finances, events and projects.
Mission:
Share God's Word, Save the Unsaved, Serve the Community. It is our direct mission to share the words given us by Our Lord.
Vision:
We strive to hold true the teachings of Jesus, practice them endlessly in our daily lives and be role models for the younger generations whom will fill our shoes.
Purpose:
Involving our community in charitable and fellowship events bring each of us closer to God. Whether we are enjoying crafts, donating at a blood drive or sharing food at our gatherings, we are exemplifying the goodness in all.
