Additional Info About Our Church
The Church of Common Good is a liberal outreach ministry church founded online by a group of Christians who find that their traditional churches were overly-judgmental and simply did not conduct themselves in a manner that we believe is the way of Jesus Christ. As a mission to bring people closer to God through actions and social outreach, we formed CoCG to be the center-mass of the work of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was a giver, a keeper of his brothers, a philanthropist, a healer, a prophet, and a guider.
Jesus was not a pretentious and condescending person. He did not isolate, degrade, and belittle others for their beliefs even if they were not shared. Jesus did not tuck himself away in a building of like-minded brethren. He went to the people in need and helped them. These are the ways of Jesus Christ and the ways that The Church of Common Good will practice in our ministry.
With fundamental doctrines of privacy and individualism, democratic decision-making, transparent donor records, and the love of one another without reserve The Church of Common Good is The Rock that Jesus set forth as the foundation of his ministry. We are fishers of men and we don t have to bait and hook we just soothe the fishes into the boat with the care and love that Jesus taught us so long ago. Be a part of the revolution of The Christian Faith, an awakening long overdue and so needed.
