Living Word Fellowship Church first opened in 1994 and has been serving the Houston area for over 20 years. Dr. Paul Cannings is the founder and Senior Pastor (8 a.m. Service). We believe in "Living the Word...Changing Lives." The church also provides live worship services on Facebook & YouTube, counseling services, daycare, life application classes, and is partnered with the Rhodes School for children up to the 8th grade. The LWFC Christian Outreach Center provides economic development, community service opportunities, emergency food assistance, drug awareness education, anger management classes, parenting workshops, basic computer training, and even a GED program. We want to make such an impact in our community that when they see us, Christ is ultimately being represented! Pierre Cannings is the Assistant Pastor (11:00 a.m. Contemporary Service). Jordan Washington is the Legacy Youth Pastor (8:00 a.m. & 11 a.m. Youth Service).
Mission:
Living Word Fellowship lives the Word of God and changes lives through and by the Word of God. We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the verbally, inspired Word of God, authoritative, and without error in the original manuscripts. We further believe that the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are designed for our practical instruction in faith and conduct (II Timothy 3:16-17, II Peter 1:21).
